Wonderful, relaxing stay in a wonderful place

The cabin we stayed in (Cabin of Hearts) was lovely - comfy kingsize bed, wood burning stove, well equipped kitchenette, decent size shower. And very well insulated (we went at the end of December). The site is very nice - lots of natural areas between pitches, good info signs about wildlife and conservation etc. And Claire & co are lovely!

A lovely set up

Really enjoyed our stay at the Mad Hatters Campsite. Each tent area was set aside in its own mowed circle but interconnected if you are with another party. The owners were friendly and helpful. Each space had a fire pit and you could buy chopped wood onsite - sadly the rain put paid to us having a fire. There was also a theatre production visiting so we even had extra entertainment. Great family rooms for showering and washing. Good location for pottering around (especially if it isn't raining).
