Have stopped here before. It is an ideal stop for me at a good price when I'm stopping for one or two days.
Breakfast cooked to order and very enjoyable.
Rooms clean and very quiet as it is situated well away from any major roads or towns without being too remote.
Always friendly welcome.
Easy to drive to Ely and surrounding area.

A lovely peaceful countryside stay in a 300 year old building with the most friendly and welcoming owners (and cute donkeys!)

The Woodlands was a beautiful stay. I loved the surrounding wild life and peacefulness about it. Staff were wonderful and went out of their way to support me, being I am disabled and require a stick to walk.
The bed was extremely comfortable, clean & fresh. Nice hot showers. Breakfast was excellent and catered to my tastes.
Overall I would recommend the Woodlands if your looking for a stay that offers peaceful space, nature and a very warm welcome.
I will certainly be returning next year when booking for the festival I was attending.

Room was nice & clean , very good powerful shower , lovely home cooked fresh breakfast, the manager was very helpful too and made you feel very welcome, peaceful surroundings, oh and loved the donkeys ,
About 8-9 mins drive to ELY town centre and the Cathedral, will definitely return ,
