FAMILY DAY CLAY PIGEON SHOOT

Went to the farm for the first time in August as an extra Birthday pressie. A family gathering which went very well. We were well looked after by RAY,, he overseen our lessons and was helpful and professional.
A great days shoot ending up in the Pub which is on site. We also met Jayne who made us feel very welcome and we will be definitely going back!
I do recommend.

Unique bolthole

Nice accommodation set around a courtyard. Each room has been individually designed and decorated with different feel. So the hunters lodge has a hide rug and chunky wooden furniture and a copper bath with a bathing in the forest feel and twinkling “night sky”. (you have to see it to know what I mean!) Another favourite is willow lodge which has an oriental theme and roll top bath. Some units have a kitchen.
The owners are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The only downside is it’s a bit remote and there are no food options on site, but that suits me perfectly as I come prepared to self cater. There are good pubs locally and glorious countryside all around for walking, especially enjoyable during the summer.

Highly recommended

Very pretty setting upon arrival. Hosts were prompt & pleasant.
We were provided fresh milk for our stay.
The room was stunning, I could have lived there easily. Gave me ‘crazy bear’ vibes. Would highly recommend. Shame they don’t do breakfast but we found somewhere locally that did.

We had a beautiful time

This is hands down the most beautiful place I have been too, the shooting is brilliant. The hosts are so welcoming and lovely people... The grounds are stunning... The rooms are clean and beautiful and there is everything you need here. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend... Will see you again soon

Clay pigeon shoot ; made to feel like a Burden

A nice experience; however in terms of experiences there needs to be some more organisation. Understaffing made us feel not welcome and an inconvenience to be there. Made to feel unwelcome and was rushed through with very little attention or care for the our experience. Staff were friendly but overbooking and lack of adequate time slotting made it feel rushed and staff overwhelmed. Would love to go back when some steps are taken to organise :)
