Travelodge exeter

I stayed at the travelodge in exeter just by the m5 . . The location was nextdoor to the services which was handy for food and fuel . The room was clean . I would definitely stay here again

Comfortable stay

Very comfortable stay with the family and our two dogs. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay there again when travelling in that direction.

Great night sleep

Check in was fast , i got a decent nights sleep , as the bed was comfortable . Receptionist was friendly , was value for money.

En route to daughter’s wedding in Devon

Really lovely stay en route to our daughter’s wedding. Rooms immaculate & staff couldn’t do enough for us, especially Carla the receptionist.

Just off M5, very convenient place if you either transit the south of the country or you want to visit Exeter but prefer to stay away for the city.
We had a family room which was spacious and clean. The beds were clean and fresh and the bathroom was spotless. We also had a complimentary fan as it was really warm so all together helped us have an amazing night sleep.
On the arrival we was welcomed by the receptionist Sophie. The check-in was really quick and she also registered our car for free parking for the time we was booked at the hotel. I would also like to thank to the other receptionist (I don't know her name unfortunately) she was working during our second night and she provided more milk for the morning drinks.
I was concerned about the noise coming from the motorway but I was pleasantly surprised not to bother us. Yes you can hear it, mostly at day time as you are by a major motorway, but it's definitely not extreme. Inside the hotel the noise level was minimal even at day time when the house keeping team were cleaning the rooms.
The only little downside was finding out that the Bar and Grill next door is closed. I don't know if it was under the same management but in my opinion would make a positive difference if reopened.
We had a great stay with no issues and we highly recommend this hotel.
