We had a restful stay at the Old Parsonage!

My wife and I are celebrating our 42nd wedding anniversary and are traveling throughout England and Wales. The Old Parsonage was conveniently located close to Bath, Bristol and Wells, which was perfect for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Nook self-catering apartment. Our room was so clean and comfortable and parking onsite was so convenient. It was great to come to a quiet place after a busy day of touring.

Oh to be in England

A very pleasant stay last week in the glorious Somerset countryside . The Pantry was clean and well appointed. Owner James was genuinely helpful. Walks to Litton and around Cheddar Gorge were standouts - the English countryside is so beautiful at this time of year.

Relaxing stay in The Stables

Great stay at the Old Parsonage. We stayed for 3 nights in The Stables, which is a 2 bed (2 bathrom) self-contained self-catering holiday property just opposite the main Old Parsonage building. The facilities are excellent with spacious rooms. It has been converted beautifully. The kitchen was well equipped with literally everything we could require. Parking is right outside the door. The host, James, was welcoming. Everything was spotlessly clean, and there was nothig to fault at all. There is a pub about 2 minutes walk away (served nice food) and a Co-op supermarket 2 minutes away. We didn't get a chance to go to the Farm Shop, but it is about 3 or 4 minutes walk away. The Old Parsonage is a great base for exploring Bath, Wells and Glastonbury.

Just heaven

My brother and I recently stayed in The Stables which is a self catering part of The Old Parsonage just across the courtyard from the main house.
Everything was just first class. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms - mine on the ground floor was spacious with plenty of storage space and a bath and separate shower. My brother was upstairs where a quirky beam had to be negotiated. I think the lovely building may be Listed so the beam may stay! He also had a separate bathroom beside his bed and was very happy up there.
The kitchen was well fitted out with some supplies kindly left for us.
I had previously stayed in The Nook (also self catering) next door which is for one person and I had everything I could wish for in beautiful surroundings.
I can’t recommend this place highly enough and hope to return.

Super Bed and Breakfast in an old house

The performances are perfect. The breakfast is great, the room is very well equipped. The bed -important- is the best bed we had on our road trip.
The location of the BnB is central, and allows you to get to Bath, Bristol, Wells, Glastonbury and the Cheddar Gorge in half an hour or less. Parking in the courtyard of the building.
