Clean and warm and friendly

Really friendly staff and clean food great and plenty of it. Really made us feel welcomed and nothing was to much trouble. Staff work hard and it was good to see they did all areas of the work in the hotel. The rooms were warm and bed comfortable. There is only 8 rooms in the hotel so there was no noise which was a positive for us

Good food - shame about the standards

Arrived today for lunch - two couples.
We were not asked for contact details on arrival as per COVID requirements.although there was a hand sanitiser station at the entrance. Staff were not wearing face coverings.
The table was dirty and my wife asked for a cloth and had to clean the table herself although we were offered another table. Her chair was also covered in crumbs and there were peas on the carpets.
Thank goodness the food was good as per usual, but the cleaning standards are well below requirements.

Clean with helpful staff. Breakfast should be earlier at weekends.

Stayed 2 nights. Staff very helpful and cheery. Food was good both in the evenings and at breakfast and the room was spacious and clean. My only comment is that breakfast is served from 9 am at the weekend and the bar/lounge area was locked up to that point. Other than that all was fine.

My husband and I dined here on Friday.
The restaurant was a little quiet at the time we were there.
Service was very good. The food was lovely. We both chose lasagne which was really tasty.
We would be delighted to eat here again at come point in the future.

Fantastic Restaurant, Well Worth a Visit

First class service, first class fresh food - and plenty of it reasonable prices. Can't praise enough. Would happily give 10 stars.
Faults - NONE!
Would definitely eat here again and highly recommend it.
