Lovely made better by brilliant friendly staff

Stayed 2 nights. First room was at back no view but clean and ample for our stay. Issues with electric shower in morning, spoke to manager in morning and could not be more helpful, explained that because of bingo night/karaoke lochview rooms above bar not being used.
We said we were quite happy to go there and were moved to room 2. Lovely clean room again with beautiful view and as we went down too bingo banging noise was no problem.
We ate at the inn breakfast and dinner and couldn’t fault it.
Sam on the bar is a wee gem and very good at her job.
My husband and I look forward to next time xxx

Wee Gem!

Lovely stay at the Anchor. Staff super nice, we ate in the bar, nice fresh salads. Room was excellent. Clean, really comfy beds and amazing shower! Veggie breakfast was perfect for setting us up for a bike hike. Overall great stay. Highly recommend

Great overnight stay

We stayed here on our way back to Shropshire for 1 night. The staff are so friendly and polite.
The room's were absolutely immaculate.our son had a room and we had one over looking the water. Brilliant night we had lovely food and then there was karaoke
Everyone was so friendly we had a great time. Definitely coming back!

A Scottish Delight!

My partner and I spent 2 nights in this small pub/hotel.It was AMAZING! when we first arrived we were welcomed by the funniest, friendliest Barman we have ever met . ( Chris )
The food was great, the room was spotless and well decorated. The view was outstanding. The locals were very friendly and always had a friendly chat.
We are definitely going back!
I would highly recommend The Anchor inn!
