Amazing hotel Britannia Inn Glasgow.

I stayed at this hotel 19/08/26-20/08/26. Hotel location in the city centre, nice room huge TV, free Internet, Fridge, nice bathroom and shower. I stayed in room 212.I love interier. Hotel staff was polite. I went for breakfast, Jordan meet at breakfast area, very nice polite and skilled gentleman, explained everything. Went above and beyond. Highly recommended this hotel. Price was good to.

Should have been informed we were literally in the centre of construction site. 7.30 vehicle reversing beeps. Lots of battered bits in hotel. Breakfast very good. Staff helpful if you ask but not forthcoming with information.. okay but we won’t rush back.

SHOCKING !!!!

SHOCKING !! oh heck worst hotel i have ever stayed in.
first of all walked into our room the fold out bed was in the bathroom, there was pubes in the sink and mold on the beds, and what looked like blood on the cuirtains.
aslo doockie stains on ALL the beds not to mention the beds were wet AS WELL

Upon arrival our room was 27°c with no fan or AC and the window wasn’t opening correctly. There were rooms to switch us to so it was a very long hot night. They were eventually able to provide a fan which didn’t do much. The bathroom smelled musty with mystery spots on the walls and shower tile, the flooring was peeling at the edges. The bathroom doesn’t have a fan and you have to shower with the door closed as to not set off the smoke detectors. We were in a family room a queen (which was two twins pushed together without anything to bridge the very hard edges of the mattresses) and two twins the twins were roll a way cots they were extremely uncomfortable- springs palpable everywhere. The mattress covers nor the base sheet stayed on well and the mattress underneath was not clean to say the least. Pillowcases were inside out. Both soap dispensers in the bathroom were empty. The towel hook on the back of the door was ripped out. There were no shelves or counter top to store toiletries.
0/10 do not recommend. Would not stay there again under any circumstance.

Undisclosed Mixed Use and Delayed Check-In Left Us Feeling Unsafe

We booked a twin room for one night at a cost of £259. Booking.com advertised check-in from 3pm, although the hotel’s online check-in link stated 4pm and offered paid “early” check-in. I called beforehand and was assured that check-in was definitely at 3pm.
We arrived at 2:45pm and were told the room would be ready shortly. At 3pm, we were then told it would take at least another 20–25 minutes.
While waiting, it became apparent that the property appeared to be used for purposes beyond ordinary short-stay hotel accommodation. This mixed use had not been disclosed during the booking process. As two women travelling alone, the overall environment and apparent lack of separation or visible security arrangements made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe.
We therefore told reception that we would not be staying and booked alternative accommodation. We did not enter or use the room but were still charged the full £259.
Our concern is not about the background of any individual. It is about the lack of transparency regarding the way the property was being used, alongside the conflicting check-in information and delay. Had the circumstances been clearly disclosed before booking, we would have chosen somewhere else. We have requested a full refund.
