Fab staff
Hotel is basic but has the essentials. Okay for a stop off overnight but probably not ideal for a multi day stay, although this fits in with the target market. The employees at this hotel were absolutely fantastic though, very friendly and helpful, total credit to the hotel

So this hotel was pretty decent. I will say that the guy at the front desk did not ask me for my id. I just gave him my name and he gave me a room. Maybe cause I am old and I was traveling with my adult daughter he could trust me? The room was pretty small. The funniest thing was the lighting in the room. You could chose from all sorts of colors. Kinda felt like this was geared to a different crowd than me. But that being said, for a budget hotel, I felt safe, was pretty centrally located. Neighborhood felt safe. Bed was pretty comfortable. Did not eat breakfast there, so have no idea if it was good. For a budget friendly hotel, it was fine. The multi colored lights were a crack up.

Modern hotel right in the city
Modern, clean hotel right in the center. You can reach the shopping mile in a few minutes' walk. Great pubs in the immediate vicinity. Breakfast is good, the staff is nice. No permanent parking in the immediate vicinity. An employee recommended a parking garage to us, which saved us a lot of money and the distance was okay. I can recommend this hotel.

A bedroom without windows was a worry but the aircon was good and there was, in fact, an opaque glass panel that gave a good impression of a window. There is no kettle in the room but you can buy a cup of tea at reception if inclined. I can see the benefit of it being easier and cleaner for staff but it's another unexpected cost to add to having to pay £5 per night to chose a room rather than be allocated one that could be unsuitable. Apart from these negatives, the staff at reception and in the breakfast area were very helpful and friendly. The quality of the breakfast buffet was very good and frequently refreshed. I didn't think I'd like this hotel but it turned out very acceptable and convenient.
