Beyond Expectation!

We had a fantastic stay at this B&B! From the moment we arrived, our host, Moira, made us feel incredibly welcome. The entire place is spotlessly clean, and our room was equipped with every facility and commodity we could possibly need.
The breakfast was amazing. You can choose between continental or a cooked breakfast; Moira clearly goes above and beyond, and nothing is too much trouble for her. We also loved the abundant selection of teas and coffees provided in the room. Every detail was taken care of. A perfect stay in every way!

Perfect stay

Wonderful host, immaculate premises and room, delicious breakfast …highly recommended for an overnighter en route to and from somewhere or to spend a few days in beautiful countryside, we suggest the nearby Fintry Inn for dinner,good old fashioned no frills hospitality and beer at £4.20 a pint.

Pleasant stay

We had a great stay at Rockfoot — Fintry is beautiful and Moira was a very sweet host. The room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was great, and we even had some sheep friends right by the back garden (don’t worry, they didn’t make a peep!).
There’s also a very short drive (or 40-ish minute walk) right up the road to Fintry Loup, a very nice waterfall just a short 5-minute walk from the road) so it’s perfect for that. And it’s all very central to Glasgow, Stirling, Falkirk and Edinburgh. All in all, a very pleasant stay!

Lovely welcoming place to stay

We stayed in this lovely B&B last night to attend a wedding in fintry.
Moira was so warm, welcoming and accommodating.
The accommodation is clean, tidy, well decorated and homely. It’s peaceful, private and welcoming. The rooms are well laid out to maximise space with everything you would need for a stay and lovely clean pressed linen. Bathrooms are a good size as is the shower with great pressure and some toiletries in the event you forget anything and lovely towels.
The views is amazing, we luckily were blessed with the sun when we arrived but even without the sun this morning it’s not a view you would tire of.
The breakfast was equally lovely and enjoyable with lots of choice and great conversation with Moira.
We will happily return for another stay.

Perfect B&B. Lovely room, great view, terrific breakfast

We only stayed one night as a stopover on our way from Ballater heading south to the Lake District. It’s a lovely B&B on a working farm. Our en-suite room was lovely, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and with views over fields down to the river. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The attention to detail was incredible with a wide selection of toiletries provided in the en-suite. Moira the host was a lovely lady and nothing was too much trouble for her. Breakfast was terrific. Even though we were the only guests staying that evening there was a wonderful selection of cereals, fresh fruit, fruit juices and yogurts. The cooked breakfast was perfect and set us up for our onward journey. I would thoroughly recommend Rockfoot B&B and I just wish we could have stayed longer
