Place itself is a good location being nearby to shops and a 10 minute walk uphill to the center of town. The room is nice and comfortable, a small bathroom but that is to be wxpected around Guildford, albeit a bit surprising for the price. Only issue i felt was no lifts, which was an issue with the number of suitcases we had as we are travelling around. Not a fault of the hotel as we should have checked, but just made it less than ideal for us

Just stayed for one night as a couple. The staff were very welcoming, polite and helpful. Food in the bar was excellent. Room was very comfortable, clean and had everything you need. Excellent location for walking to G-Live or the main shopping area in Guildford. Would stay again.

Excellent hotel

Excellent stay at Mandolay Hotel, friendly staff in reception, the bar and breakfast. Special thank you to Casey and the bar staff and manager for looking after us. Lovely room and perfect location for Guildford shops and restaurants.

Great

All round comfortable and clean, location perfect, staff easy to talk to and very welcoming reception. Breakfast awesome, both continental and cooked.

Exceptional Service and a Wonderful Stay

I had a lovely stay at the Mandolay Hotel in Guildford. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained, making for a relaxing stay. What really stood out, however, was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, but Louie in particular went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and felt well looked after throughout our stay. His professionalism and genuine warmth made a real difference. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others visiting Guildford.
