Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay at the Dog Inn in Halstead Richard and his wife were very friendly made us very welcome.
The room was comfortable and clean and Richard's breakfast was delicious especially the sausages and bacon.

Very welcoming stay. Bedroom was really clean and confy. Wonderful breakfast. Host advised on locally points of interest. Hope to be able to stay again.

Midweek getaway

Lovely room clean and spacious,lots of tea coffee and good biscuits + bottles of water,
Full range of breakfast and a cooked , large car park with a large enclosed garden great for dogs
No other inn has a garden only court yard , landlord is at your service to make the stay enjoyable

Great landlord - welcoming and super friendly. Superb range of real ales and an awesome full English breakfast.
Room was comfortable, fairly spacious (we had the triple) and clean. Broom was a little compact and basic.
Overall a good friendly pub with basic but good facilities.
