Excellent accommodation, spotlessly clean, fully equipped kitchen (everything you could possibly need). It was like a home from home. The only slight negative was that the beds were very soft, but that's just personal preference.
Whitbarrow village itself was very well maintained with a lovely bar/restaurant area. We would definitely return.

Really fab. Great place to stay. Clean, warm and very well equipped. Nice touches - the owner left biscuits, chocolates and a personal Christmas card. Recommended
However, the property was badly let down by the agent - Sykes who provided poor service. The booking contract was with Hotels but I had to add an account with Sykes who then asked for an additional £13 for the basic booking. I had to spend some time talking and emailing to Sykes / Hotels to get it sorted. Poor set-up by Sykes with their 3rd party sales agent. I’ll be going out of my way to avoid Sykes
