A nice family experience

We stayed two nights in the family room and everything was very clean and the room was perfect for all four of us. The facilities are great and the atmosphere is very good. Everything very clean, the girl from the reception a love as well as the volunteers and guests we found. Definitely a great place to rest after making routes around the island.

Awful

Where do I begin other than to say I would rather sleep in my car. We booked a double room but we're given a bunk bed room, which was no bigger than a box room, we could only walk around the room one at a time if the other was on the bunk or stood in the door way. The top bunk was around a foot from the ceiling, both bunks had big dips in the with thin mattress, it was not dirty but very run down with black mold in the corner, carpet I wouldn't walk on without shoes on. The shower was in a cupboard and with only one shower and toilet per floor they are in constant use becoming very dirty very quickly as is the kitchen area. The staff were friendly and there is limited parking. If you just want somewhere to put your head down and don't care about anything else this is the place for you, however the £70 a night is massively over priced but then again this is on Skye. We had booked for two night but only stayed the one night, booking somewhere else, as did the 5 other fellow travellers.

Could be better...

The view from the room window is very beautiful.
The kitchen for guests is well equipped.
The mattresses are poor! Very, very fine!
The disposition/quantity of sanctuaries is insufficient for the number of guests.
The showers are like "capsules", very small and at some times the heated water ends and the bath can get cold.

Unexpected views.

Great place to stay. Beautiful views and well priced. Nice staff. Unfortunate that everyone feels the need to stand in the kitchen even though they arent cookimg. Apart from that enjlyed my stay.

Certainly the welcome is friendly however everything else is very negative.
It is not specified at the Reservation that the dormitories are in fact caravans outside. There are only 3 showers and they are in cagibis or outside. No wifi in the caravan, no possibility to turn off the light above the bunk beds above.
