The staff were fine, the beds in the room were fine, but the room itself wasn’t great, very dated, hand prints on the walls, the room was advertised as having air conditioning but there was only a stand up fan held together with tape. There were several stains on the carpet also

Hovel Be Warned it’s very low standards.

Dreadful place that’s seen better days. The photos on the website didn’t reflect my room, the corridors stink, the room has had some effort to modernise, it was painted with a new bed, which was comfy. But there we so many things wrong, skirting board still has barcodes on it from fitting, the seat was so filthy I would t even put my bag on it…
There were holes in the bathroom ceiling and the bath, well I’ve added pictures, aside the long black hairs in it (I’m bald so not mine) the path appeared to be peeling paint, so when showering you need to take care less you damage your feet… The curtains were filthy, old and not hanging properly, touching them was .
People that were there were so drunk they were screening and running about. No breakfast, miserable reception staff.
My over arching memory is it’s tired, smells and I didn’t feel clean there, but on the plus side a new bed, spotless bedding. So if you want to get in and sleep and go early then it’s probably OK.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Although the gentleman at reception was lovely and the sheets were crisp the hotel was disgusting. Filthy sticky floors, mould everywhere, blown windows, pool shut and full of thick black gunge. We had no choice but to stay but it was the most disgusting night with what sounded like rats running in the ceiling above our head. Half of the security cameras in the car park were broken and it definitely felt unsafe. I would run a mile from this hotel and not recommend it to anyone. Disgusting.

The room was fine, but in need of a bit of care - it had obviously not been redecorated in some years. But the bathroom was clean and functional, and the bed was comfortable enough. The window was a bit draughty, but that was ok in June - i'd not like it in January. Reception area was good. It is a shame that the place doesn't do breakfast - but the chap on reception pointed me to a decent cafe just up the road [Mia's Cafe, thoroughly recommended]. Overall it was all OK but in need of updating and redecorating.

Whilst the building looks tired and the fixtures and fittings are basic it is what you would expect for the price as I think it is very good value for the price that you pay.
It is such a shame that you can hear the room next door too clearly especially if in the early hours there is lots of noise coming from the room!
Staff, however, when nothing short of helpful for marks for the staff
