Stayed for a couple of nights and had a lovely stay. Staff were lovely, room was exactly what we needed and the village is beautiful. Highly recommended.

A great find in the Yorkshire Dales. Not far from Leyburn and Hawes, set in a quiet little village with clean rooms and good showers, and they've got dog-friendly rooms. A highlight is the food--they source the meat and sausage from a local butcher, so I definitely recommend taking your dinner with with room. (There isn't anywhere else to eat nearby anyway.) They have a great selection of drinks at the bar, which was full of friendly locals. I appreciate B&Bs/inns run by hosts rather than big chain hotels, so this was

The room was small but neat and tidy. A bit warm though, but it was that one of those warmest days. We had dinner and breakfast and dinner was reasonably good, the breakfast was traditional English freshly cooked breakfast. It was nice and homely. Andy( Andrew) was friendly

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and well stocked. Included breakfast was excellent, and staff very accommodating. We were able to order packed lunch for day out.
Evening meals in dining room very good, and beer selection extensive.

We stayed 3 nights on a B&B basis. The breakfast was very good and the gentleman serving was friendly and good humoured. Our evening meals were variable in quality but I couldn't fault the rump steak! There was an excellent choice of quality beer. The staff were without exception helpful and pleasant. The hotel is very well located in a charming village with easy access to many beautiful places
