Fantastic

We had an absolutely excellent stay at The Leagate Inn. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well cared for. The room we rented was spotless, comfortable, and full of charm, with all the little details that make a stay feel special.
The food was outstanding. Every meal was cooked beautifully, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with real attention and pride. It is the kind of place where you look forward to every course.
A special mention has to go to Dylis, the front of house manager. She was amazing throughout our stay. Warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making guests feel looked after, she set the tone for the whole experience. Nothing was too much trouble, and her friendly approach made us feel completely at home.
The rest of the staff were equally brilliant, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere from start to finish.
Overall, The Leagate Inn delivered on every level. Excellent room, excellent food, excellent staff, and exceptional service from Dylis. We will definitely be returning

Excellent overnight stay

Had a one night stay here at the end of a business trip in the area. Excellent- exceeded my expectations bearing in mind the price paid. Large, comfortable and absolutely spotless room overlooking the garden (was slightly concerned this would be noisy), but despite being a sunny evening it was empty each time I looked.
Had dinner in the bar area, vegetable curry was delicious- lots of flavour and ample quantity, also liked the ‘mini dessert’ option- perfect when you just want a little bit of something sweet. They even had a lovely dessert wine by the glass.
They were able to accommodate my request for breakfast at 7.30am (need to request a time if eating before 9am), lots of choices and my poached eggs on toast with avocado were perfectly cooked.
Large car park for easy parking and residents have their own entrance to avoid having to take luggage through the bar area.
Would definitely stay again if in the area.
