A fabulous stay

Excellent hotel, clean, comfortable with good amenities and ideally situated. Staff very friendly especially the owner who we met at the car park. Considering the hotel is on busy Hope Street and we had the window open as it was hot weather we were not disturbed by any noise at night. Great value for money. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to others.

Avoid at all costs. Complete crooks

Brought my partner here overnight from Scotland as part of his 30th the hotel itself is lovely and the room was clean and comfy, wouldn’t say that it’s worth what it paid for one nights.There was no one at the reception as we arrived and no one answering any phones, customer service definitely needs worked on for sure.
We paid an extra £20 for the parking which for one night I found quite steep, the carpark itself self only has 5 spaces and isn’t very big.
there is a £50 security deposit upon arrival That is “refundable” a month later and multiple messeges to the manager I still haven’t received this, what Iv had of them is “ it has been refunded” or “check again”. I have checked every day since checking out and still nothing and now no replies at all from the hotel. If it had been refunded I wouldn’t have bothered chasing it up for a month, I have sent proof of this but now they keep asking for more and more. Now wanting a bank statement (this is against the law) and completely unprofessional and don’t follow standard practices . Would avoid this hotel at all costs

Reservation Cancelled Just Days Before My Stay

My experience with this hotel was so appalling that I never even got the chance to stay there.
I had booked my room through Booking.com six months in advance so I could attend a friend’s wedding. Just three days before I was due to arrive, I received a phone call from the hotel informing me that they could no longer allocate me a room.
What made the situation even worse was the attitude of the staff member on the phone. They offered me a different room, but only if I paid an additional £70. I asked why I should have to pay more for a problem that was entirely the hotel’s fault, and the response I received was simply: “Well, you can’t stay then.”
There was no apology, no attempt to make things right, and no customer service whatsoever. Being left scrambling for accommodation at the last minute for an important event was incredibly stressful and completely unacceptable.
This level of service is disgraceful, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking here.

Great night stayed

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Would just like to say what a fantastic hotel the Philharmonic is. We stayed in room 205 and it was amazing. The hotel is In a great location with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, only a short walk to the centre too. Would highly recommend to family and friends. Safe to say we will be coming back.
