Above & beyond

This hotel has to be one of the most friendly places we have ever stayed, from the really warm welcome from Courtney to the welcoming faces of the other 2 lovely ladies that were in the bar, we had the best stay. Breakfast was amazing, fantastic choice & my husband loved the porridge Thank you all and without a doubt will definitely be starting again

Very disappointed

The room was in general need of decoration. The shower was completely broken & the toilet roll holder was falling off of the wall. Also there was no bathmat. The staff were lovely. Breakfast was average with no fresh fruit salad choice.
We didnt stay for breakfast the 2nd morning.

Great little place

Location was perfect, used council pay and display car park down the road £8.50 for 24hrs which was reasonable, there is on street parking but I live in a tourist town and experience first hand how inconsiderate parking can ruin residents quality of life…please always use car parks.
The team were welcoming and friendly, room was spacious and comfy, breakfast was delicious. We were slightly early so had a nice cold drink in the bar. En suite needed a bit of tlc but had everything you need, floors a bit creaky so was difficult not to make a noise….it’s an old building with character.
We would probably stay again.

Good value and excellent hard working attentive stsff

Excellent location near everything. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Fabulous freshly cooked breakfast.
We had the carvery on Sunday and it was beautiful and again very fresh.
The staff clearly work very hard to ensure everything runs smoothly
The price we paid for 3 nights was very reasonable.
The hotel rooms and bedrooms could do with a little TLC but overall our experience was enjoyable and good value for money

Little break away

Lovely friendly hotel, spotlessly clean, crisp white bed sheets and towels, best breakfast I’ve ever had , quality products, will definitely stay here again, booked through booking .com but will try next time to book direct with hotel
