Nice hotel with a super friendly staff. Quick check in and the receptionist came with me to the room to show me the amenities. Room size is ok but my room 202 has no view…A wall view. Soft drinks, milk, water and biscuits in the room are all free. The location is very good near most of the theatres…Many cafes and restaurants nearby.

I recently stayed at the Middle Eight Hotel - Garden London, choosing this location for its convenience and the apparent plushness based on their website. I was willing to pay extra for a better experience, but sadly, my stay fell far short of expectations.
Upon arrival, the reception was welcoming and professional, which was a positive start. However, my experience quickly declined. I paid €414 for a one-night stay, expecting a decent-sized room. Instead, I was allocated a very small room with a tiny bed and a window that overlooked some serviced ducts in a service yard, which was disappointing.
I asked at reception if I could be moved to a larger room. I was shown an upgrade option, but it came with an additional charge of £100 (approximately €120), which I found unreasonable given what I had already paid. The upgrade room wasn't much bigger, but I accepted because the first room was far too small.
Additionally, I was told the mini-bar was complimentary, but it only contained milk, which was not particularly useful. The did bring 3 small bottles of Coje and 1 bottle of beer on request. Since I had an early flight the next day, I requested a late check-out to shower before leaving. This request cost another £80 (roughly €100), adding to my overall disappointment with the value received, however I was thankful to avail of this service.
Overall, this stay was a major letdown. I dont mind paying good money for a good product in retur

The hotel is very well situated and we have stayed there before. I found the housekeeping to be very inconsistent. They didn't replace faceclothes, water and other imenities and we had to ask the front desk. Overall though it was a pleasant stay.

It was a celebration birthday 80 and we were told we would have a Happy Birthday banner and 2 glasses of Prosecco this was not in the room.
We had no English tea bags lots of green tea and other fancy teas but no ordinary tea. There was only water in the fridge no other drinks. We came to this hotel a couple of years ago and the standard seemed much better .
