Excellent dog friendly accommodation

We had an absolutely excellent stay at the Castle Inn. Breakfast was a real highlight, with brilliant options for vegetarians that made our morning easy and enjoyable. It was also a lovely touch that treats for our dog were included — small details like that made the whole experience feel thoughtful. Everything about our stay was awesome, and we’d happily return. We also had dinner here the night before… so tasty!! Definitely recommend, again there were plenty of well thought out options for vegetarians, not the normal boring dishes.

Atmospheric old pub with excellent facilities

Excellent location close to Lydford gorge, on quiet road next to interesting English Heritage castle. Plenty of car parking opposite, free after 6.00pm.

Another fabulous stay at The Castle Inn

Another fabulous stay. Excellent experience from check in to check out, the team at the Castle are truly wonderful. Our room was beautiful with lots of thoughtful touches. Lovely to sit in the garden (which is looking fabulous) in the sunshine and seeing everyone having a great time. The food was sublime - the pork special was one of the best dishes that i’ve ever tasted. Thank you for another wonderful stay and see you in a few months.
