This modern Orida hotel has spacious rooms, an indoor pool and a well-equipped gym. Maidstone town centre is within a 10-minute drive and the M20 motorway is less than 0.5 miles away.

Mixed bag but best in Maidstone
Car park had more than enough spaces to make it easy to park the range rover, however next morning when the car park was full we found that the car was stuck between closely parked cars that we couldn’t get out!
The suite was large and seemed well equipped. However only having two electrical outlets was insufficient and the positioning of the tv on the side near the bed meant a stiff neck when trying to watch tv.
The room had two swans made from a pair if towels with red petals which was a very thoughtful act.
The restaurant staff for breakfast were efficient but had no charm or welcoming smiles. The monday/wednesday evening staff were great however the tuesday staff again were robots with no smiles.
The evening food whilst expensive was quickly prepared and delicious.
There was always lots on offer at the breakfast buffet. Note that there was plenty even at 9.30 - 30 minutes before stopping.
There was a fire drill at 3.30 one evening which was over in 10 minutes - no explanation was given by management, just the usual we look after our guests letter under the door.
The swimming pool was used twice and the experience was a positive one.
One gripe was that the £6 cost per day to park wasn’t mentioned on the websites anywhere obvious.
Overall apart fron the horrible roadworks nearby it was a positive experience and I would stay here again.

Hidden Gem !
Literally just off the M20, The Hotel was very spacious and was decorated well, i particularly enjoyed the foyer where you could relax and grab a coffee from Starbucks or a beer from the bar, The hotel caters for everyone, The room we stayed in was a good size and clean, had everything you needed, we did eat in the restaurant in the evening and we also had breakfast and we found the menu was a good selection and the food tasted very nice, the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, we also used the health club and enjoyed using the modern gym equipment, The pool was well maintained and a good size, gym staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. All staff at the hotel was really friendly and helpful, We recommend this hotel and will be returning soon.

Short Stay for a BH Weekend Event
Stayed here for one night to attend a big event at Detling Showground - Military Odyssey 2026 - over the Bank Holiday Weekend. This hotel is just 5-10 mins from the Showground.
Easy to park, with courteous staff and a decent large room, which was comfortable, with good, clean beds, but a bit dated in places (bathroom/carpet). It was quite noisy early morning, as my room was facing the front of the hotel to the adjacent main road. They kindly covered my parking for free, due to being woken early by the road traffic noise.
The onsite restaurant was very good for our evening meal, the grilled sea bass was excellent, and for breakfast too, with a decent range of food and drinks.

Comfortable stay
Comfortable stay. Good size room with adequate facilities. Only minor irritation buffet breakfast was luke warm. We were late down for breakfast having made use of the swimming pool and not sure what hotel can do to keep food hot. Would stay again and perhaps have an earlier breakfast. Staff were welcoming and helpful.

Dirty. Grotty. Awful.
Fur coat, no knickers comes to mind. It looks ok on the outside. The reception area is nice. The bedrooms are dirty, dated and quite frankly fit for a one star Airbnb. Whoever cleans 219 room needs sacking. Brown stains in the toilet,the tiles have this old brown colouring to them, the shower pressure is just pathetic and the door inside the toilet has probably never been cleaned. You need a shower to enter and exit the room. £165 for one night. It’s just not worth it.
