A great experience

A great experience from the moment we checked in, the receptionist was really helpful and friendly, recommended a fantastic restaurant in town. The hotel is lovely, the room are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent. We will definitely go back.

Dirty , smelly , mouldy fire risk avoid the false advert

The worst rooms , don’t believe the Ai generated images in the advert it’s a dirty smelly disgusting place AVOID

Hotel was good but fire alarm went off on first night at 2.30 in the morning and shower was cold first night but they did get it sorted for next day

Outside Wall - Gatez had a lot of scaffolding but the room was great -top quality local bath products & tea tray items
The room had been refurbished with new carpets & Bathroom was nice & fresh
One of the best breakfasts I’ve had / high quality continental breakfast plus cooked to order hot breakfast made for a lovely stay
The front of hotel is have extensive work fine but the rear of property well maintained & lovely grounds
Staff were very personable & helpful too

The WiFi didn’t work and requested fix was not achieved in two days. Not informed the accommodation was away from the lodge
