Not a bad word to say! Hotel was lovely, rooms were so clean & luxury. Food & drink was incredible… service even better! Sofia was a star, always had a smile on her face & made our night :)

This was our 3rd time staying at Dakota. We always have a lovely stay. This was our 1st night and we always book the Dakota grill for dinner. Our server Katie-Rose was phenomenal, she was so friendly, always smiling and wiling to accommodate all our requests. We yet again had a lovely time here and was extra special for my boyfriend’s birthday. Thank you Katie for making our stay extra special!!

Very good hotel in central Manchester but also quiet

Really liked Dakota Manchester - it was the closest we could find to a top end boutique hotel in the city centre. Like most big cities there are always a lot of big chain hotels so we try to steer clear of them. The staff here were excellent - including the lovely reception girls and the fantastic concierge team and the guy from the Wirral. All very helpful in ensuring we had a great time. We had also booked valet parking which was brilliant - so easy - highly recommend! The location was central but not noisy which was good. I had booked a Garden King room which had a lovely terrace. The room was comfortable and spacious and the bathroom was very nice too (it included a bath and a large shower). The fixtures and fittings all felt solid and new. Our only slight gripe was that the breakfast was a bit basic and the buffet was quite minimal in variety ...compared to how much we paid - which we don't mind if the breakfast matches. We would definitely return though.
