Lovely little base to explore

My partner booked this little gem for a surprise birthday trip. Initially a little hard to find, we were looking for a farm and it’s cunningly tucked away behind a row of small houses. Pear tree farm is a lovely small holding with land to explore leading to a river. On the way there you’ll pass an orchard, a stone circle and the families pigs! The cabin itself is basic but comfy, the bed especially gets a big tick from me. I loved the vibe in the cabin, a few quirky touches and recycled doors as work tops and bedheads make for an interesting base to explore the sites of Glastonbury. The breakfast was generous, with lovely homemade pork pies thrown in as well. Short stays would be best in the cabin, but only due to it not having a self catering kitchen, breakfast was totally manageable and we got a takeaway sorted for an evening meal.
The hosts are lovely people and it was great to be able to take our dog along. There is an extra charge for this which we paid before we left. We had a really enjoyable stay, and we would certainly consider going back again.

Super little spot in Somerset

My family and I booked out both the Middle Barn and the cabin for a celebratory weekend away and we couldn’t be more pleased. With so many lovely touches, the owners Annabelle and Matt know how to make you feel welcome while respectfully keeping their distance. Deep in the beautiful Somerset countryside, it’s tucked away on a small holding next to a river and huge swathes of fields and farmland. And to add to the fun there’s pigs and chickens to say hello to and several great country walks right on the doorsteps. Both properties were decorated beautifully and full of home comforts. Close to Glastonbury and beautiful Wells there’s plenty to do on the doorstep. And it’s really good value for money. We - and especially the children - didn’t want to leave. We will be back!!

Romantic trip

Beautiful place to stay. Unique and individual. Very close to the river for a romantic walk. Will stay there again . Were greeted on arrival and given full access to the gardens and nothing was too much trouble

Our second visit and another fantastic weekend break

Following a wonderful first visit last year we decided to treat ourselves to a New Year weekend break. We stayed in the cabin which was comfortable and cosy with the benefit of being self contained and breakfast provided in the fridge to eat at your leisure. The location is fantastic, just a short drive from Glastonbury and some amazing nature reserves. The hosts are amazing and the whole experience is well thought out and relaxing. Can't recommend them highly enough.

comfortable farm B and B

this is a quirky place to stay if you like a relaxed home comfort type of place. Our room was an old shed with heaps of room for our big bags, large bed, tv, dining tables/chairs, old bath and chemical free toilet. The hosts are a lovely friendly couple who encouraged us to feed their pig/piglets, chickens and ducks. Every little home comfort had been thought of. Children would love it here.
