3 day break

Just had a 3 night stay at the b and b. The location was spot on. Paul was so friendly welcoming ,very kind and helpful. Nothing was a bother. The room was comfortable and everything provided. I would have loved to recommend here to anyone thinking of visiting the area but unfortunately Paul and his wife are moving to pastures new. Good luck to you both and thank you for a very enjoyable few days.

It was a great start for our holidays in GB. Paul ist such a perfect host, because his excitement for all things in and around Morpeth were very contagious!

Great B& B in a great location of lovely Morpeth!

We spent four nights 6-10 July 2025
What a great find, a lovely room with an en-suite, very clean & comfortable.
Great breakfast as well cooked by the very friendly and welcoming host Paul.
Would certainly stay again and recommend too.

Excellent stay

We stayed at the Newminster as we were celebrating a special occasion and it was centrally based for where we wanted to be during our visit to Northumberland.
On our arrival we were met by the host Paul who throughout our stay was fantastic.
The room was clean, tidy and met our expectations.
Paul has a wealth of knowledge about Northumbria and offered advice about places to see when he asked what your plans were for the day. He also had a tremendous knowledge of places to eat at various locations. Paul would be a tremendous asset for the Northumberland tourist information board.
With Paul’s knowledge I can say he turned our visit from something special to something extra special. I will always be grateful to Paul for his valuable input.

OK. Just.

We did not find that this bed and breakfast lived up to its reputation based upon reviews. Worryingly the toilet in our room was not properly cleaned before our arrival, so we dealt with that !!. The beds were comfortable and the rest of our room seemed clean and tidy. We had a quiet night and slept well.
A very average English breakfast in the morning saw us on our way.
