The staff was super kind and helpful! They helped us check-in early and ALSO check-out later with no issue whatsoever!
We also had an issue with the electricity in our room and, after explaining them the situation, they very promptly gave us another room so we could get ready for our event! Not only, in the end there was no need for another room because they rapidly fixed the issue!
Would 100% recommend! The location was also great for both short Uber trips and short walking based on what you prefer/need!

Excellent stay
We had a 3 night stay recently as we were in Newcastle for the football. Staff were all excellent- friendly and efficient. We stayed in a standard king size room which was comfortable and had everything we needed.
Buffet breakfast was well stocked with a good range of cooked and continental items. We also ate in the Italian restaurant twice and had lovely meals there. We ate in the bar area once and this was also very good.
Overall a lovely stay and we would definitely return.

Excellent service
This hotel is great value, when compared with other hotels in the city centre. It's only a 10 minute walk from Haymarket, and also Jesmond Metro station is just a couple of minutes' walk away.
My overriding memory of my stay is how friendly and efficient the front desk staff were. Unfortunately I don't know his name, but there was a gentleman on the front desk who was fantastic - extremely welcoming, polite and informative. If only all hotels had staff like this!
The Reception area is light and airy, with some comfy seats and plenty of high tables and stools with wall sockets, so great for remote working. The reception desk morphs into a Starbucks/Bar and there is also a small snack selection to purchase.
The hotel also has a separate large bar area, and a great Italian restaurant which is where breakfast is served in the mornings.
My room didn't have any view, however the bed was comfy and there was a decent desk to work at, large TV, and safe. Plenty of hanging space too. The bathroom was a little disappointing to be honest - it seemed a bit jaded and my shower attachment kept squeaking and the water would change temperature randomly. I could also hear conversations in the corridor, so soundproofing wasn't amazing.
However, given the price of the room, I think it represented excellent value for money; and it was a nice easy walk into the city centre. You also have the bars and cafes of Osborne road just a 10/15 minute walk away. (their outdoor seating areas were packed when we were there last weekend, owing to the gorgeous sunny weather)

I recently stayed 3 nights with my partner. We were in a standard double room. While it was adequate it was quite small (very little room for luggage), the mattress wasn’t so comfortable, the decor was a bit tired and there were no sockets by the bed but it did the job. I wouldn’t want to stay more than 3 nights. Couldn’t fault the staff who were professional and friendly.

Awful sound proofing therefore lost sleep. Shower curtain needs disinfecting, and finally, mid breakfast, I was asked if my breakfast was included in my stay when I had paid for it the night before. Not nice…
