Lovely stay...

What an experience to be a guest at INNSiDE by Melină...an experience of pure pleasure. The room stole our hearts with its warm touch. We love the large, spacious, and panoramic windows, and the view of the river is a delight. Breakfast is like being a guest at Masterchef, with a wide selection to choose from. The staff is friendly and helpful. Next time we visit Necastle, INNSiDE by Melină is our only option for overnight stays.

A perfect mini break

We had an absolutely lovely stay at INNSiDE by Meliá Newcastle and would definitely return.
The hotel was very easy to find and we managed to park in the hotel car park without any problems. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location is excellent for exploring Newcastle.
We were very kindly upgraded for my birthday to a Studio room, which was fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable, with the most stunning view over the Tyne — a real highlight of the stay. We also loved the complimentary minibar, which was a really nice touch.
The bathroom was excellent, with a great shower and lovely bathroom accessories. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of choice and a relaxed atmosphere.
If I had to find a couple of tiny negatives, the bed was slightly on the hard side for me, and the bathroom/toilet light was rather bright if you needed to get up during the night!
Those really are minor points, though. We had a brilliant time, felt very well looked after and the birthday upgrade made the stay feel particularly special. A great hotel, lovely staff and a fabulous location overlooking the Tyne. Would happily stay again.

The front desk staff were really helpful with information. The breakfast was very good :Omelette really tasty.
In a very good position for the Tyne river walk.

Lovely and comfortable stay in a convenient location, including for parking which was reasonably priced and close even when the nearest car park was full. The only downside to the room was this modern convention of sticking a shower in a glass cubicle within the room, rather than in a room of its own. I know this is often done to deter friends groups from reducing their number of room bookings, but even people travelling as couples sometimes enjoy a shower as one of the only times of their day spent by themselves and this prevents that. Otherwise a lovely hotel, and one I sought after a positive experience at a Meliá in Sevilla.

an excellent riverside hotel

lovely large rooms with great river views (think you pay extra for this but worth it), fridge in the room, pleasant ambience all round. breakfast was pretty good. location is superb.
