Excellent customer relations
We didn’t actually stay at the hotel. We were booked to stay for a night. Our son was really unwell after staying at another hotel the previous night. The hotels empathy and understanding of our situation was overwhelming. I can only imagine how brilliant SeaSpace must be to stay at. We hope to return another time. Thank you again

So good I recommended it—and then booked to go myself!
I had such a lovely stay at SeaSpace. I'd actually recommended it to someone on my swim weekend, and after talking about it I decided to book a couple of nights myself – I'm so glad I did.
The apartment was stylish, comfortable and really well equipped, with everything I needed for a relaxing self-catering stay. The whole place has a calm, modern feel that makes it easy to switch off.
One of the highlights was the adults-only evening swim, which was the perfect way to end the day after spending time in the sea. I also loved the communal spaces, which were great for relaxing with a book.
The location is brilliant, just a short walk from Porth Beach and an easy drive to Watergate Bay, Newquay and other beautiful spots along the coast.
I'd definitely stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend SeaSpace to anyone looking for a stylish, relaxing base in Cornwall.

Great stay.. only down side is no elevators. Was tricky having to navigate a baby and toddler up the stairs however, the staff weee very helpful

Potential but lacks customer service.
The location is great if you're planning to spend most of your time at Watergate Bay. Porth Beach is only a 5–10 minute walk away, but it's down (and back up!) a very steep hill, which isn't really mentioned on the website. It's a tough climb with little legs, beach gear and buggies.
The good:
The hotel itself is beautiful, and the pool is genuinely special.
Our room was spacious and well-equipped, with everything we needed to prepare food if we wanted to eat in.
The games room was fantastic and catered for all ages.
The downsides:
Porth Beach wasn't as walkable as we'd expected, so we ended up driving most of the time. Reception actually recommended driving the four minutes to Watergate Bay instead, which is absolutely stunning. We visited outside the school holidays and parking was fine, but in peak season I think relying on the car would become frustrating. It also meant we couldn't easily pop back to the hotel to use the facilities or have lunch, so we ended up buying meals out instead.
Our biggest disappointment was the customer service. We were charged twice for our booking and struggled to get support.
Housekeeping wasn't available despite booking within the required timeframe, food orders were incorrect, and the way these issues were handled felt surprisingly indifferent.
SeaSpace is stylish, clean and has a great atmosphere, but it lacks the warmth and hospitality you'd hope for at this price point.
Looking back, we probably would have chosen either the Watergate Bay Hotel or the The Esplanade Hotel. Both would have reduced the need to drive everywhere, included breakfast for a similar price, and, we suspect, offered a warmer overall guest experience.

The walk back up from Porth Beach can definitely feel a bit of a climb with little ones in tow. For future stays, there's a handy car park right by the beach that can make beach days a whole lot easier.
