The amenities of a hotel, but with the price of a guesthouse.

It is a youth hostel, with room for families, groups, couples... everyone has a place in this hostel with all the amenities you need.
Rooms for groups with an external bathroom.
But if you prefer, there are rooms for 4-5 people with a private bathroom, as well as shared outdoor access.
It has a children's room, a reading room, a laundry room, a lounge, and a communal kitchen where you can unleash your culinary skills and thus also save on dining expenses.
It is located on the road that goes to Ganavan Beach, very close to the center of Oban, which you can walk to along the beautiful promenade.
The views of the bay are impressive, but you have the possibility of walking to several picturesque places.
Pleasant and family-friendly atmosphere.
Do not expect luxury and romance, but rather something affordable, practical, and ideal for spending a few days with family or friends.

Perfect choice for Oban

Beautiful property, excellent location, perfect parking. The staff is friendly. The kitchen is spacious. There are also various relaxation areas, though I did not visit them. If I return to Oban, it is likely I will stay here again.
Property is a bit dated, it lacks maintenance.

Prime location,rooms, public lounges & kitchen very clean on arrival & then it up to the hostel users .
Staff as helpful as could be, but not tourist , so haven’t had the opportunity to visit the local places . All friendly & welcoming.

This was my favorite hostel I’ve stayed in so far! As a solo female traveler I felt the town and the hostel environment was incredibly safe. The facilities as a whole were very well maintained and clean! I liked how the dorm rooms had a sink and mirror separate from a sink in mirror in the toilet room as well as the shower being separate. It kept the bathroom situations from being congested. Beds were comfortable and clean!! Make sure to bring your own lock for the lockers as they aren’t included. The work/hang out rooms were nice and quiet. WiFi was very spotty. As a remote worker it caused some issues for me so be aware if you are a digital nomad! I would absolutely stay again.

Amazing location! but no hot water early in the morning when we needed to get on the road for Glasgow airport
