Amazing Stay

The staff really make this hotel, from the Manager Amanda, to Becky who did a bit of everything & all the staff. They were all friendly, polite, efficient and made you feel welcome & at home. Our spacious room was in The Haven, perfect. All the meals we had were first class, which for me is very important as I am Vegan. Would highly recommemd

Really quite expensive for what you get

Came in as a group of 8, nice setting just off the Main Street and the restaurant presents well.felt a little bit packed in where we were seated but expected if you are a group of 8. Menu was enough to give choices but felt a little limited and firmly sits as a seafood menu. I had the fish pie, which was nice, but had masses of potato and sauce and was lacking fish, think I found 3 smallish pieces. For the cost charged, it wasn’t good value for money and this was the feeling of the group, prices overall were high for what was being presented. The sausage and mash dishes were up at £20 for a basic food offering and very average quality

Spacious Room

I reserved a Superior King room which was spacious with a large bathroom with lots of counter space. The shower had an electronic on/off that turned the water on with a touch of a button. (Make sure the wall switch outside the bathroom is “on.”) The hotel has two buildings and my room was in the main building. There is no lift in this building. Breakfast is served in the other building and is a basic buffet. The restaurant on the premises serves a delicious dinner.

NC500 stop

Unfortunately Plockton Inn fell short of expectations. I’d sum up the accommodation as budget quality for premium price. The food and the restaurant were a better experience but the rooms need improvement.

Disappointing; do not stay here

I can only describe this as over priced; under delivered; book room only if you must. Such a shame as the village is beautiful.
This chain is charging high end price for poor service. Not enough staff for breakfast ; bizarre as the dinner service had plenty of staff.
