Great hotel, close to motorway

Great little hotel, stayed in the outer building which had air conditioning which was amazing during the heat wave. On site restaurant was good too. Staff very pleasant and rooms clean and tidy.

Not very ‘Premier’ Inn

Booked a double room at Port Talbot Sat 16 May, we arrived quite late around 11:30pm and made our way to our room with luggage etc all ‘seemed’ ok so showered and get ready for bed by about 12:30 we got into bed to find the usually super comfortable double bed was actually two singles pushed together so there was an uncomfortable ridge down the middle. Had a horrible uncomfortable and broken sleep. We didn’t go to reception at what was now around 1am so thought I’d investigate and complain in the morning.
After checking the bed was made of two single bases pushed together, two single mattresses, two single toppers that could NOT be zipped together, another single protector on each and finally a double fitted sheet, The retaining strap holding the bases together was also broken.
I took photos that clearly show the issues
On checking out there was no one on reception so decided I would take it up with Customer Service by email as I had photos, room number etc

Great hotel and restaurant combo. Great access East and West. Local petrol station and shop. Short distance from town itself.

Beautiful and clean hotel

Had a lovely time here with my family clean rooms and Sharon from reception gave a warm welcome.. definitely recommend staying here
