Hidden gem

I'm reluctant to leave a good review incase it attracts too many people and we can't come back! ;)
What a fabulous place! An absolute gem.
IMMACULATELY clean cabin. On our summer holidays we always visit 4 or 5 different locations and I travel with cleaning materials because I always encounter a dirty... something. Well, not here! Absolutely pristine oven, cupboards and drawers and fridge!
Play park near the cabin for the kids.
Fabulous dog run, a great size with a gate. Table tennis hut!
We visited The Forbidden Corner whilst there (15 minutes from the centre) but there are SO many things to see and do locally you'd need more than our 2 days.

Relaxing

4th visit - love this place. A place to rewind and re-charge. Surrounded by nature and wonderful views. In a basic cabin and aware of upgrading to other cabins but still clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend for a chilled time (games room competition aside!). Pub in village closed but fab pub for food 10 mins away in Carperby. We will be back.

Perfect Relaxing Family Break

We have been desperate to stay at The Jonas Centre for over a year and they are usually fully booked months in advance. Luckily we managed to book for 3 nights over the weekend in August. We booked a classic cabin but we wanted to upgrade to the premier cabin - I emailed a few days before out visit on the off chance someone had cancelled and luckily they had and we managed to upgrade to a premier cabin! Joy couldn't have been more helpful, she called me regarding my booking and was very responsive to emails etc! The site itself is beautiful and tranquil, set in the countryside in Yorkshire. Our cabin was warm, well lit and comfy and provided the perfect relaxing break that we needed.
The site has an on-site farm with some wonderful staff who are friendly and have genuine love for the animals - myself and my son had a lovely chat with them about the farm. There is also a field area with games and toys such as outdoors connect 4 and football!
We booked The Jonas Centre as it is well situated to visit The Forbidden Corner in Leyburn but we also managed to incorporate Bolton Castle into our trip with it being to close to the centre!
Our hot water cut out in the shower on our last night but we weren't too fussed as we were tired. We also struggled to get comfy on the sofa but we know that all of the items are donated as The Jonas Centre is run by a charity so we grabbed a few of the duvets and made it more snug! We stayed in 1/3 of the evenings and used the kitchen area to cook, it was well equipped and everything was easy to use!

Fantastic place, peaceful and quiet

Fantastic place, peaceful and quiet. Cabin was clean and tidy, beds were comfy. Everything you need in the kitchen. We had a problem with our cooker and sorted straight away. Great dog enclosed area. We were given a dog guard so he didn’t need to be kept inside the cabin. Great walks around the area. We have book to return for a longer stay.

Great location

Great location nice and quick and peaceful.Had all u need for a great weekend beds comfortable staff friendly.Will be back again some time next year for definitely for abit longer.Games room was good kids had a good time in it
