Another great mini break!
Just come back from a few days break at Avalon Lodge. Nick and Jenny are the most amazing and friendliest hosts. They think of everything and nothing is too much trouble for them to make your stay enjoyable.
We stayed in the Haven room which opens onto a balcony overlooking the garden and fields. Fresh milk and water in your own fridge, and tea coffee etc. provided. The bathroom is the best, excellent shower and plenty of storage space and toiletries which a lot of other B&Bs don't have.
Breakfast was once again delicious and lots of choices on the menu - once again I had the pancakes - awesome. Full English is freshly cooked and really filling.
There are chickens and geese and we fed the donkeys
You will not be disappointed with this superb B&B and we will most certainly being coming back here again.
PS I recommend an excellent pub for a meal called The Fox and Hounds, Nurstead Road, SN10 3HJ

Perfect in every way!!
Wow! The photos don’t do this wonderful B&B justice.
From arrival to checking you enjoyed your stay, Nick and Jenny are warm, welcoming and make you feel like they have known you for years.
We felt we had been welcomed into a home and not just a B&B.
All safety measures were explained, which made me feel relaxed and very safe in this lovely home.
The room was larger than expected, with a generous en-suite and the added extra of a balcony. One of the many lovely touches was the fresh milk in the fridge.
After a wonderful nights sleep in the extremely comfortable bed, the breakfast was perfect. There was so much choice, freshly cooked and just delicious.
Having the donkeys, chickens and ducks on site was a bonus of being in the countryside.
We will definitely return to visit Nick and Jenny and the elephants!

Mini-break for relaxation / Avalon Lodge B&B, Devizes.
The Avalon lodge B&B really was so much more than just a place to stay.
The owners Nick & Jenny were so very friendly, hospitable, and accommodating, making us feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
They both spent much time telling us about the surrounding area, places of interest to visit, and walks.
Our room had a balcony which was great to spend some time on soaking up the smashing views, garden, and last bit of sunshine in the early evenings. The room was clean and tidy with many extra special touches which made it very homely, comforting and relaxing.
Our power shower was fab in good size clean,
modern bathroom. The farm animals were so lovely to meet and feed in the am’s after our huge breakfasts which last us till dinner with much on offer including home grown tomatoes from their greenhouse, berries and yoghurt, cereals and jams all so very nice.
Although our stay was for only 3 nights felt very relaxed and revived on leaving which was just 100% needed to restore us from work/home life. What an amazing little place, lovely couple. Marvellous surroundings, peaceful, perfect get away from it all stay! Loved it! cannot wait to go back for a second retreat. A great escape to the country!!!

Absolutely love this cosy B&B
Jenny and Nick made us feel so welcome here. The room we had was beautifully decorated, large, extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. Nick was so helpful pointing out places of interest and locations to have evening meal at. Jenny does the best breakfasts that fill you up all day and are delicious. I fell in love with Hazel and Alan their gorgeous rescue donkeys! They also liked the apples we fed them! They have a beautiful B&B and the welcome and service are impeccable

Fantastic B&B
We received a wonderful welcome from Jenny on arrival. We stayed in the Harmony room, this was very spacious, lovely big bathroom and beautiful views of the countryside. Breakfast was excellent. Very friendly B&B and would definitely return.
