Does what it says on the can

I stayed here for two nights on a golfing trip with a couple of friends. We arrived mid evening and the guy on reception was very friendly and helpful. He suggested the restaurant may be closing soon so volunteered to go over and reserve a table for us so we could settle in to our rooms and get something to eat in about half an hour. My room was fine, while it didn’t have air conditioning it did have a very effective fan and a tower fan.
The bed was comfortable and the shower was great after a hot day.
Our evening meal was OK we all chose the mixed grill - the steak was overcooked however. The waitress was very friendly and happy to provide table service for our drinks. The barman Harrison was a star on both evenings providing excellent service with a friendly can do attitude. Breakfast on both mornings was very good value for money. So, overall I’d say this is an OK hotel for a couple of nights stay and really probably one of the better Premier Inns

Very Dated Rooms need a make over

The staff were very obliging, car parking adaquit ths room was very dated, no heating & cold, the room smelt musty think this msy be the reason the window was open, outside temp 10° Mold on the celing & on grout between the tiles in the bathroom.

Average…

We stayed a night visiting the area for the weekend. We tend to stay in Premier Inns as they’re reliable, comfy and good value. However, the room was so incredibly hot it was unbearable to sleep and I had the worst nights sleep I’ve had in a while… two fans were in the room and the window opened a crack but the fans wouldn’t reach the bed so didn’t really help at all - no actual plug sockets next to the bed, just USB so we couldn’t move the fans closer. I woke up several times during the night overheated. The room was also not very clean… scum on the hand soap which I wiped off with toilet paper. Very handy location with local shops and EV charging, the receptionist was friendly when we checked in.

Nice hotel, lovely staff but noisy early morning deliveries

We stayed for one night and the room was clean and the staff very welcoming and helpful. I hadn't thought to book an accessible room but on checking in we were moved to a downstairs room so I didn't have to struggle with the stairs which was very thoughtful. I had assumed there would be a lift. Also, I should have thought about trying to step into the bath to have a shower which I found somewhat challenging. I should have booked an accessible room, but they did go out of their way to accommodate me.
There were two fans in the room which helped keep the temperature bearable.
We chose to have the meal deal which was good value for money and the food was nice.
The only slight downside to the stay was that our bedroom window opened out onto the loading bay for deliveries for the retail park. The big lorries started arriving very early in the morning and were very noisy so we were up by 7am which was quite a bit earlier than we had intended.

Business stay

Hotel room clean and tidy . Reception very helpful.
But the restaurant next door omg look at the carpets filthy and black with grime . Dirty menu too. . So cancelled the meal deal .
Would return but certainly not for the food nextdoor.
