Absolutely fantastic, I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

What a fantastic place to stay, a real gem! If I went back to Salisbury I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else than at the Old Mill. The rooms had everything we needed and were absolutely quiet, the staff was SO nice and accomodating and the food in the restaurant was fantastic. Just loved this place!

Lovely Salisbury

We booked with booking.com and having looked at the rooms on the site seem to have had a small room. Lovely location, old building thin walls and very noisy at night floors creaking and guests arguing. Nice fans provided, wonderful breakfast, friendly staff. Great location for a walk into town.

Not just poor but no service at all

So sad that my evening with my wife was spoiled on what was supposed to be the highlight of our 2 days in Salisbury.
Chose this place due to the lovely location and recommendations but the reality was not great.
Table was booked for 7pm and we had to ask for our order to be taken after waiting nearly 20 mins as the solitary server was very stressed.
It was not until 7:55 pm that we had to inform the solitary staff member that we were leaving as no longer prepared to wait.
Ps place was not busy with only one other table waiting for service.
Such a shame but waiting nearly an hour for food is not acceptable

Fantastic stay in a great place

Wonderful location, great historic building, lovely friendly staff.
Obviously air-conditioning is not permitted in a listed jewel of a place like this, but that's more than covered by the Dyson fans provided. Beautiful! (Of course, some people managed to blame the staff for the heat, but you can't educate stupid)
I stay in Salisbury very regularly for family reasons and will be back here in a heartbeat. Thank you all.

Awfull service , avoid

Awfull service ,ordered £70 worth of food , waited 45 mins no food arrived, asked what was happening no real answerwaited another 35 minutes, asked again , 15 more minites , decided to cancell the order , fobbed off with no real reason given ,local eat here about twice a month , wont be eating here again. Very poor
