Beautiful place to relax and recharge
Honestly, just a beautiful stay. The best lodge we've ever been lucky enough to stay in. So peaceful, and with open views and the quiet, you'd easily believe you were the only people for miles.
Lovely homemade bread, jam, butter and prosecco waiting for us, everything was absolutely spotless, and after Victoria popped round to check everything was ok, we were completely left alone for our stay which was wonderful. The hot tub in front of the open view was perfect, and we enjoyed sauna, huge bath, hammock, BBQ and fire pit too over the stay, with lots of logs being supplied. The Sonos was great to play some music and relax!
We also took our two dogs, who received their own welcome basket of treats, tennis balls, a guide and some towels. They loved relaxing on the decking in the sunshine and watching the world go by.
The bed was huge and so comfortable to sleep in, and the Nespresso machine a welcome treat in the morning.
We couldn't have asked for a better weekend, and have already booked to stay again later in the year for my 40th birthday!

Heaven on Earth!
Our 2nd visit to this wonderful, unique accommodation and booked to return at the end of the year!
We stayed 3 nights in the Honeymooners and had the most relaxing, quiet, peaceful time.
Victoria is an absolute asset to this business and was super helpful before & during our stay....thankyou!
The attention to detail is most impressive, everything has been thought of.
Everything we required was there and was of a high standard.
Standard of cleanliness is first class.
Loved the comfortable chairs at the firepit!
Hot tub was a perfect temperature with views you just don't want to leave.
Same views from the comfortable bed.
Used the sauna this time, then the plunge bath

But what makes this place unique is, your hideaway is so private, we saw and heard no-one for the 3 days, only the birds.....bliss.
Looking forward to lighting the log burner in December when we return!

Stunning!
Beautiful stunning five star luxury!
The most perfect place to switch off and unwind. It really is an experience from start to finish, everything felt really special and so relaxing.
The setting is so peaceful and private with such beautiful views.
We had birds of pray flying overhead in the daytime and Deer walking passed us in the evening, creating lasting memories to cherish.
The owners have put so much thought put into all the little details creating a truly memorable experience. Nothing was too much trouble. We were sad to leave and would love to come back sometime

Perfect break
Pure relaxation, this is our 5th stay, and we loved it as ever. Stayed in stargazers again which is just everything you’d want. Privacy and seclusion. Staff always on hand to help if needed. We’ve booked straight away for another trip. Perfect break and perfect for dogs too.

A luxury pause during busy weeks of business and travel
We loved staying at The Hideaway. So close to Dundee, yet so peacefully far away, nestled in beautiful farmland. Our time here enabled us to feel calm, reflective, and thankful for the chance to wind down. Thank you to Caroline, Ross, and family for creating this luxury experience following a few busy weeks for us - it was the time and space that my sister and I needed to draw breath before we headed off on the next leg of our UK travels.
