A splendid B&B

Caledon ticked every box for me, I loved it here, Nigel made us so welcome from the minute we arrived, the room was lovely, large and spacious, with a super power shower, which is a big thing for me.
It was so quiet and peaceful, so calm, only the birdsong to listen to, no traffic thank goodness.
We had a lovely breakfast each morning, there was no shortage of anything.
A small, but lovely touch was the fresh the flower arrangement on the bedside table ....so lovely.
And, what a view from the bedroom window, over the water to Teignmouth

Great place, with fantastic views

Loved staying here, spotlessly clean and made very welcome, and the breakfast is yummy and plenty of choice. Catered for dietary restrictions with no problem. Wonderful host, very friendly. Will certainly stay again.

Absolutely Right!

I could write a long review about Caledon. But I don't need to because thereview title says it all.
Everything - EVERYTHING about our stay was absolutely right and we will certainly be going back.
Loved it.
Stay here, relax from the minute you arrive and explore beautiful Shaldon.

Best hospitality we’ve ever had

Ali is probably one of the nicest people we have ever met. She was such a good host, welcoming us immediately, showing us around the place and then making us lemonade to drink in her beautiful garden. Her gorgeous dogs Hugo and Henry were so lovely as well! The room itself is very spacious and has views over the sea. One of the comfiest beds I’ve ever stayed in. Couldn’t have been cleaner and had all the essentials you’d need. Really close to the city centre, ferry etc but really quiet at the same time. Couldn’t have asked for more, thank you so much for having us!

Just lovely

Nigel and Ali have a real gift for making guests feel welcome and we felt comfortable and able to relax really quickly. This above all else makes this a very special place to stay. As there are only two guest rooms there is not a lot of noise of coming and the service feels altogether more personal. The view from the room is really lovely across Shaldon towards Teignmouth and the room was immaculately clean.
It should be noted that driving and parking in Shaldon is a little awkward as could be fully expected in a quaint seaside village set on a steep hill.
