Lovely hotel lovely people perfect location

Location perfect Linda and Des were perfect hosts went out of their way to please all their guests. Breakfast the best I have had for a long while. Very relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed a drink in the bar in the evening. Didn’t get to go in the pool as weather wasn’t hot enough for me.
Good value had a classic room suited our needs as out every day. Would definitely visit again

The most beautiful hotel so quiet and quaint

Another fabulous time staying here at the Belmont it’s just beautiful. So peaceful and the best breakfast 10/10 the place is just so home from home. Everything you need and more

May visit 1 night. Very pleasantly surprised

Stayed for 1 night as I was working in the area. Linda and Des were wonderful attentive hosts. The hotel has a real family feel which makes sense being family operated.
The room was spacious with a really comfy bed with lots of pillows.
Really liked that they have plates and cutlery if you want to order a takeaway. Breakfast was good quality and freshly cooked.
They even thought I left something behind in the infra red sauna and took it to where I was working on the island. It actually wasn't mine but the sentiment shows the kind of service Linda and Des offer. I'll stay here again when I'm next working in the area.

Warm and welcoming..

A great stay at the Belmont, Linda and Des were friendly hosts and the hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was simple but very clean with a nice en suite bathroom and tea/ coffee making facilities. Our cooked breakfast was freshly made and very tasty. Linda was really accommodating re my need for gluten free options which was appreciated. Lovely location within easy walk of beach and high street.

Great Place in Shanklin

Fabulous hotel ten minute walk to the sea via the Beach lift and ten min walk into stunning “old Shanklin.
The hotel has a pleasant aspect with a great car park there is also plenty of street parking directly outside. Our room was perfect - the bed was possibly the best i have ever slept in - a perfectly adequate bathroom - excellent choice of programming on the large flatscreen TV. On arrival the lady on reception was very nice and helpful, we booked breakfast which was fantastic (full English) all top quality produce great selection if you just want continental breakfast, 10 /10 for everything
