Sporting team visit
Stayed in hotel for 4 nights, 43 travellers mostly Families in 16 Rooms, part of a sports team competing in a National event. Hotel massively accommodating, so friendly and helpful. Parking was around £3 per day, due to location close to Sporting venues, Food and Drink very good. Location 3 miles off M1 is perfect. 2 miles from Meadowhall and 5/10 minutes walk to reliable tram network. Would certainly use this hotel again if we ever go back to Sheffield

Above and beyond customer service.
Had a terrible experience...during the day which was top off with wonderful service from Martin at the desk.
We only came to the facilities to park to see the Gladiators at Sheffield Arena.
Car broke down ruining the evening and our travels but Martin went above and beyond with his service, making a disaster of a night at least palatable.
With staff like this I can wholly recommend the Hotel.

Very Disappointing Stay – Not the Usual Premier Inn Standard
Very disappointing – not the Premier Inn standard we're used to
We booked this hotel while attending the Gladiators event at Sheffield Arena and although the location was convenient, the stay itself was very disappointing.
I knew when booking that there was no air conditioning but I didn't expect the room to be incredibly hot and stuffy overnight and to make it worse the windows couldn't be opened.
In the middle of the night we had no choice but to use the fan provided only to discover it was absolutely covered in dust. As soon as it was switched on, it blew dust over the room and left the bed covered in it, which was completely unacceptable.
The bathroom also had issues, with the bath draining very slowly after use and the bed was far too soft and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a decent night's sleep.
We stay at Premier Inn around five times a year, so we know the standard they usually provide. Sadly, this was by far the worst Premier Inn we've stayed in and was nowhere near the quality we've come to expect.
Normally I would have raised these issues with reception during the night but we had two children asleep in the room and waking them to move rooms simply wasn't an option. Because of that the Premier Inn Good Night Guarantee wasn't practical for us to use.
Overall, this stay was a real disappointment. We've always found Premier Inn to be reliable but this hotel fell well below the usual standard.

Friendly, clean, perfect for arena.
We stayed here to attend the Gladiators at Sheffield Arena, and it turned out to be a great choice. Rooms clean, family room so an extra bed for my son, lovely clean bathroom, and air con. We had breakfast and ate in the evening - really lovely food. I have an allergy and I found their folder of what is in each meal perfect. I could choose safely. Parking easy. Most of all, the staff there were lovely and welcoming, especially the lovely lady who greeted us when we arrived. I'd most definitely stay there again.
