Perfect nights stay

We had a fantastic one night stay at The Kings Arms. Everything was perfect.
We had a lovely room facing out front, the bed was comfortable with lovely pillows (we are very fussy about our pillows and these were great!)
Fantastic shower which was very hot and with good power.
We had a full English breakfast which was cooked to order, very tasty and piping hot which was great. Cereals and yoghurt was also available but we were full so didn’t have any.
We didn’t have an evening meal but wished we had as the food all looked really good and a very high standard.
Location was good for our visit to Leigh in Sherborne. The Kings Arms is a very attractive building and easy to find.

Highly recommended

We booked at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised! The hotel is well run, the rooms were a very good standard, lovely towels and amenities. We had a really nice meal in the restaurant garden, breakfast was great too. The little village is a good stop off location, and lots of walks in the area and places to visit nearby.

The staff were very friendly
The rooms are nice, but not luxury and are a little dated.
We booked for dinner and our food was delicious. Although we felt £13 for a glass of wine was a tad excessive.
The breakfast was really tasty with good quality ingredients.

Delighted we booked again at this hotel.

We booked at late notice and were delighted with the hotel and food.
The hotel is in a lovely little village. It's perfect for a stop for a couple of nights to explore the local area or on route to or returning from the West Country.
The owner is very welcoming and so are his team. The food is excellent. I understand that many local people come to the pub as its a favourite for foodies.
Accommodation and food are reasonably priced and good value. Plenty of parking.
The hotel is very clean, quiet and provides excellent service.

This is a lovely hotel. We stayed in a luxury double room, which was nice with a spacious bathroom and great shower. Our dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced and staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking across the road from the hotel.
