Great hotel for the New Forest experience. Gorgeous surroundings, child friendly with a fantastic dragon adventure trail for children to participate in (and get a little prize on completion). Pool, nature, nice breakfast, helpful staff, ponys, birds, forest - we loved our stay in the New Forest.

Was average hotel not really impressed by the whole place looks lovely and could be good however needs to work on the basics of service along with the smartening up some of the place. Restaurant looks like stuck in the last century but could be brightened up and cleaner.
As for the pool not good at all probably about 10m length and 4m wide however dangerous slope in middle

A pleasant stay close to Paultons Park

Use of a small pool from 7am until 10pm, ideal for the children and to enjoy before and unwind after time at the park.

Only stayed one night as attended a family gathering. What we had and experienced was good although could have benefited from some added disability attachments in the room. No nonslip mat in bath or grab rails were in the bathroom. Disabled room with walk-in shower etc was not available.

Not good value

The property is very tired the staff helpful but there didn’t seem to be any leadership the restaurant food was basic and the whole stay not good value for money
