PreCruise Marriott Choice!

TA Review:
*High Points: My status got me higher floor with lots of space, a mini-fridge which I used, location to the supermarkets and mall including a REAL Apple store, and the Pig nearby for drinks
*Low Points: staff seems overworked in heat and rush, especially pre-cruises
*Unique Points: location, fridge, spacious top floor rooms, and views

Had a great stay, only disappointment was how bad the air con was. It was only 23c outside but despite the air con being on all evening and night it never dropped below 21c making quite a hot and uncomfortable night sleep.
Would come again but would avoid hot times of the year as i imagine 30c+ outside would have been even worse.

Good basic accommodations.

Basic accommodations, no phone, no fridge and no safe. Rooms are the size of a cruise stateroom. Clean and quiet. Restaurant is also basic menu but breakfast was good.

Excellent location for a night before cruise

Great little hotel for a stay before catching a cruise from Southampton.
Short walk from Southampton Central train station (approx 15min) and to Horizon Cruise Terminal (aprox 20min).
Staff were extremely friendly and the welcome cocktail was a nice touch.
Room was the perfect size for two of us with a comfortable bed, shower with good water pressure, and a TV that can connect to your device for streaming.
Plenty of food options right across the street and barely a 5 min walk to the main shopping street.
I will definitely come back if I find myself taking another cruise out of Southampton.

Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was very good..,could use more towel bars if you want us to re-use towels. There was no safe in the room, no info on location of ice machines or gym. Breakfast was good. The price of the room was much too high. Instant coffee packets in the room were a letdown. Disappointed in what we got for a Marriott affiliated facility.
