Excellent value and service

Great value, excellent staff. Room a little but clean and comfy bed. I have never had such a stock of tea coffee and milk as here.we stopped two nights and on the first morning there was a bag hanging on the door full of tea coffee and milk and biscuits . There was a fan left in our room, very welcome and worked a treat. You can walk to knebworth from here, a jaunt, but can be done as if going for. Concert, it’s hard to get a cab. Would recommend and stop again. We were room 102, nice and shaded in this heat

Good hotel, excellent restaurant!

Stayed here several times when working in the area. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Service is excellent, very friendly and attentive, and you are made to feel valued as a customer. Food is great too - breakfast very good, but the Nirvana Indian restaurant is absolutely brilliant! All in all, good value, if this hotel is available I will always stay here.

Was a last minute booking and price was a factor. Yes, rooms are a bit dated but it was clean, comfortable, practical and was all good. Staff are very helpful, polite and friendly. Bar was good. Dinner in the restaurant was AMAZING - fantastic food and service.

Very good accommodation for an older property only negative was the tiles on bathroom floor slippery when wet.

Arrived on a Sunday for work the next day. Booked here as really convenient for where I was going on the Monday and the Indian restaurant had good reviews. Very disappointed to find the restaurant shut and breakfast the next day was served from 8am not 7. I went on the website and couldn’t find this information. Staff were really friendly and professional. The bar was small and some locals were in watching football which was entertaining. I had a few pints of Stella which were under £6 a pint, another redeeming feature :)
