Certainly recommend

Dont be put off by the low price.. Room is clean and tidy... Towel and soap.. Coffee making facilities in the room.. Plenty of plugs.. Bear in mind it's a university campus so no TV in the room.. Take a tablet as the free WiFi is more than capable.. Breakfast is really good... Both hot and cold food.. Honestly fantastic value for money

Disgrace the way a paying customer was treated through a mistake of there own

8am Saturday 30th May
I Jason yates enter into the hotel reception telling them that my boss ste had booked me for a room for me they looked at there computer and asked for there room key back i explain that I had just arrived and was only sleeping till 12 o'clock and my boss had organized a late check out.
She gave me my key
At 9.30am the cleaner come into my room I had to tell them I was still in bed
Then at 10am a hotel manager came and told me I had to be at shouting my boss name who had booked me in I explained to her I had only came at 8am and would be leaving at 12 o'clock she asked me if i had Wright pommision I told her the girl on reception know that I come at 8am and am leaving at 12 o'clock she came back at 10.30am and told me I had to check out at 11am she came back with another girl who told me I either leave or pay for a late check out I told them not to disturb me again and slammed the door on them
This is a poor way to run any business and I didn't get any sleep which puts me and my bosses customers at risk

Cheap and cheerful, but finding food in the evening was almost impossible.

Very good accommodation for the price, but the mattress could have been better. Clean and comfortable, but without the TV that seems to be standard in most hotels rooms these days. Easy parking. My main criticism is that it is almost impossible to find anywhere to eat on campus even early in the evening. We were sent to a ghastly looking cafeteria type eatery, only to find it already closed. We ended up buying snacks from the small on site supermarket. If planning to stay here, bring your own food. The breakfast included in the price was very good though.

Good budget accommodation

I found this a good place to stay for a couple of nights while my dog was in the nearby vet hospital. It is basic accommodation and that’s reflected in the excellent price. The room was clean, it was quiet at night and it is set in lovely grounds . The uni itself is a very short walk and there you’ll find plenty of places to get food . The only downside I’d say is the bed which is uncomfortable due to the mattress which is clearly needing replaced. Overall a good place to stay as a base .

Prisoner Cell Block ‘W’

Prisoner Cell Block ‘W’.
Awful. Stained. Uncomfortable. Not sure how students can be expected to stay here let alone private bookings.
Most uncomfortable mattress ever - felt every spring. Stained carpet. Room smelled strongly of carpet deodoriser - dread to think what it was masking.
Shared shower room with shower button that needs to be pressed every 10 seconds. Awful shared ‘living room’ - see the pic.
Looking at others’ images there must be different standards in different flats
