Lovely hotel, very quiet, great shower and amazing four poster bed in our room. Free parking and availability despite it being a popular spot. Great location with an easy walk into town. Limited options in the restaurant downstairs due to the quiet time of year but the staff did their best to accommodate and we felt well looked after. Would stay here again.

This isn't what you expect in a hotel. It's a bar/restaurant with curious opening times and with some rooms. The bar had closed at 9.45 one night when we went to have a drink. The next night we went to have dinner and were told that the kitchen had closed at 6pm. This morning the restaurant was closed when we went to have breakfast.
As for the rooms, ours was accessed via a steep metal staircase open to the elements and not suitable for people with mobility difficulties.
The room itself was OK but over-furnished. There was no information about the facilities such as bar and restaurant opening times, alternative places to have a drink or a meal, or the wifi code.
On our first night the fire alarm went off at 2.45am and again at 3.30am, both false alarms. In the morning the staff knew nothing about it and the whole episode remained a mystery.
It was an experience that will not be repeated.

Helpful proactive staff and useful location in town. A little older furnishings and decor around the rooms and hallways, but comfy and clean. Appreciated the fan in summer.

Small but nice bedroom - everything we needed tho tv did not have BBC channels for some reason…
Breakfast was exceptional - fresh fruit (including Sharon fruit, blueberries, strawberries) with yoghurt was lovely. Brilliant fresh quality pastries. Best part was service - very friendly chat and super service. Thank you

Highly recommend & will return very soon!

Lovely place, friendly & helpful staff. Perfect location & free parking. Rooms were stunning with a fab shower & toiletries. Highly recommend & we will return next June.
