Beautiful stay, exquisite surroundings

An outstanding stay from beginning to end. The setting is spectacular, the house and grounds live up to their reputation entirely, and the whole experience felt effortless.
Service was impeccable throughout: warm, discreet and genuinely attentive, with staff who anticipated everything without ever hovering. The food matched it, consistently excellent and beautifully presented.
We left already planning a return visit. Highly recommended for a special occasion or simply for a few days away.

A Truly Magical Place, Steeped in History

An exceptional stay at Cliveden House. Beautiful setting, elegant rooms and outstanding hospitality. The staff were warm and attentive, making the whole experience truly special. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Yesterday revisited in the Modern Era

A short drive from London and Heathrow, this Natl. Trust cum Hotel is fabulous! It truly can take you back in time to the Astors. With two restaurants on site serving quality food with excellent service you need not, but should visit one of the 3 Michelin star restaurants in nearby Bray. In fact, the Hotel can provide launch service directly to Bray!
The rooms and suites remind one of times gone by while providing all the features and accommodations you'd expect. The only gripe is a shortage of Type C USB ports so bring your converters!
The spa, pool, gym and boating facilities are wonderful. Shout out to Capt. Mike who runs the Hotel's Thames flotilla and provides probably one of the most unique hotel features available anywhere. Also a shout out to the bartender in the lounge.

Fabulous

Cliveden is a special place where to spend a long weekend o just for a day visit. The several restaurants and bars have lovely food. The staff is attentive and friendly. The House is spectacular. The ground has beautiful walks near the Thames.

Wonderful birthday visit

Stunning hotel spa and grounds. Staff all really outstanding. Room lovely and spacious. had no air con but it was quite cool so not too bad when we were there. Great to have snacks and drinks available in a pantry too. Restaurant dinner excellent quite pricey. Breakfast excellent.
