Fantastic Nepalese and Indian cuisine

We booked a table for 5 mid-week at 7.30pm in the Fairy Falls pub in Trefriw, south of Conwy. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating (we arrived 5 mins late!) Nothing was too much trouble for them (TV on wall volume was turned down without asking, bar drinks brought to our table, mix and match from the menu etc).
The food was delicious, mainly Indian, Nepalese and Chinese cuisine as well as some English dishes. We got served quickly and the food was well presented and tasted superb. We had starters and main courses and each was excellent (we could choose how spicy we wanted each dish). Service was faultless, no long wait for each course, poppadoms and dips were provided FOC whilst we waited for our starters.
Overall we had a fantatsic meal and I can only recommend the Fairy Falls pub for an evening meal with an eastern taste. 10/10.

Like old times

Local person whose never eaten here before. Very pleased and frustrated by the fact the meal was brilliant. My frustration was after working in India long ago, I’ve never found that home made taste in UK restaurants, until now. The mango sorbet was outstanding.

Exvellent venue

We stopped in at Fairy Falls Hotel after a strenuous local hike, tired out and hungry. Dee the owner is an excellent host, very helpful and friendly and the Inches cider served was excellent. The food was also excellent and Laney our hostess was on point and charming making the whole experience very positive. Thank you! Gwyn & Vicki

Brilliant food and service

We give it a 5 star review. Fantastic meal and fantastic service. We will be definitely will be returning during our holiday. Very good value for money.

Disappointing and rude

After visiting the waterfalls we called in for Sunday lunch. There were a few others in there but by no means busy. We arrived at 1.25pm ordered drinks and 4x roast dinners. After waiting 45mins we enquired how much longer we would have to wait and was told it was on its way, 15mins later we got our lunches. Although the portions were a good size the food was disappointing, it tasted like everything was frozen especially the veg and yorkshire puddings. When we went to pay we expressed our disappointment with both the wait and the food and was astonish to be shouted at across the bar in front of other customers. We didn't get an apology just excuses and told that (well yelled at) that we could not say that any of the food tasted like it was frozen food because it wasn't. I have eaten a lot of vegetables in my 64 years and think I know when it's fresh or frozen.
