Good experience
We’ve had a good experience at the Pendley Manor. Unfortunately we could only book a room with who separate beds but that turned out te be nice for a change, we both slept like babies.
The shower is good.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing, you could order everything but I think the staff wasn’t too good at refills.
The peacocks are lovely.
We couldn’t find a nice route to have a walk.

Bar food was great
Had booked 3 treatments at Pendley Manor Spa as I had a gift voucher. This review is mainly for the bar food as it was very good.
The express facial was not great , the arm and hand reviver was pointless. But I was happy with my nails done. I would not recommend the express facial and the arm/hand reviver with the specific therapist I had. It might be better with another therapist I don’t know…. But I’ve been to a lot of spa sessions and have definitely had better…..
But my overall experience at Pendley Manor was very good which is why I have given it 4/5 stars. It was easy to get to from where I live and it was easy to park. Great toilet facilities. Loved all the peacocks walking around the grounds.
I didn’t eat at the restaurant as I did not have time that day but went in the bar for a quick salad and coffee. It was nice and relaxing with a view. Loved my salad and they served it quickly. I added on the prawns which were freshly cooked warm prawns. Really enjoyed it.
I would visit again but will try a different therapist next time.

Lovely and clean, we checked in late but had booked with dinner and the kitchen sorted us some sandwiches, very greatful, lovely room, would definately go back, thank you.

Gem of a getaway
Whilst searching for the perfect getaway spot, initially looking at Oxford, my husband decided to widen our radius and so glad we did. He came across Pendley Manor. We booked our 2-night stay with half board. From arrival to departure we were impressed. Notable points include the warm & receptive staff, the beautiful and immaculate decor, great facilities such as the spa where we opted for the pick & mix offer (great therapists), The Oakroom restaurant where we dined each evening on our 3-course half board booking; faultless. Finally getting complimentary to an exec room with great views - only comment I’d make here is that each morning we woke up with rather achy bodies as the mattress was rather hard so perhaps something worth hotel looking into. This doesn’t in anyway take away from our openness to a return visit/stay. Ooo and lest I forget the beautiful peacocks wandering around the grounds daily made something rather special and so well behaved! Missing them already!

Family friendly stay
My family had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - special thanks to Deepti, Marius and Hyacinth. Definitely intend to return. Thank you!
