The best pint of peroni on the island and only £5.

Great Stay

We had an excellent stay at No 24 and particularly enjoyed the sunny garden, hospitality and the useful advice that we were given. We were fortunate that our stay coincided with the hottest day of the year and we were there for the Ventnor Fringe.

Friendly and inspiring coffee ☕☕

Top Lavazza coffee ! Said from an Italian man in town. Pop in by chance in this very nice place close to the parking and the super friendly owner offer me a good espresso . He knows his stuff in football too and predicted 2 1 Vs Holland! C'mon England in Euro 2024. Emanuele

Very helpful

This is not a hotel but rather a few rooms above a bar. It is generally clean and adequately maintained. Very unusual and quirky.
Rooms are all fine but some are a little small. There are lots of (narrow) stairs to negotiate so do need to be fit-enough for that. There was quite a lot of noise in early morning, from the road out front or service area to the rear. But this may not bother early-risers
Owner was very helpful, including in sorting out secure storage for our bikes.

One to avoid!!!!

This is not a hotel. It’s more of a drinking den for the owner and his pals with rooms up several flights of stairs. The upper rooms are particularly difficult to access and you will be expected to try to drag your cases upstairs by yourself
The rooms are tiny with not quite enough room to walk around the bed. The linen is shabby and the pillows are dirty. It needs a good clean. There is no hanging space for clothes so you will need to use a suitcase as a wardrobe. You will need to crawl around the room or you will constantly bang your head
The bathroom is dirty, outdated and minuscule. There is barely enough room for the loo and you will bang your head when entering and exiting the room
It is impossible to step into the bath and forget using the over-bath shower head!
The owner thinks it is all hilarious and says the fact that there are six flights of stairs and ti y rooms is all on the website (it isn’t).
Avoid avoid avoid! Stay in Cowes instead
